Lean Startup Labs Detroit Summit: Innovation to Market
September 20th, 4PM - 8PM
MOCAD

Lean Startup Co., co-founded by Eric Ries, is hosting its next Summit in Detroit on September 20th. This after-work boot camp will be an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs, whether you need to get your idea off the ground, design an MVP, improve team collaboration, or increase the level of your product development process.

Our keynote speaker is Jill Ford, Special Advisor to Mayor Duggan and Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, City of Detroit. Jill will share key insights about Detroit’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, as well as building an entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Other speakers include Adam Berk, Founder of Neighborrow.com and Product Lifecycle Team Member at Pearson, David Alade, Co-Founder, Managing Partner at Century Partners, Phil Dillard, Lead of Curriculum & Faculty Development at Lean Startup Co., and Suneel Gupta, Founder of Rise.

Adam will talk about Hypothesis Formation in Experiment Design: How developing hypotheses leads to proper experiment design. The hypothesis tests the riskiest assumptions, a key part of the DNA of Lean Startup.

David will share the story of founding Century Partners, a Detroit-based real estate firm that is disrupting the real estate market. Their focus will be on the importance of customer development.

Our next round of speakers will be announced next week on our website: http://ift.tt/2aJ16zD;

Prior to the main program, we will hold an “Introduction to Lean Startup” course and encourage everyone to register for this “Patron Pass” as you will be empowered to understand and implement the principles of Lean Startup into your startup or established company.
