7/14/11-Press Release Writing
Press Releases are a great way to market yourself or another business on the Internet. Many people do not know how to write them; so there is less competition of people who can do these. Plus, there is less competition on the Internet.

8/11/11-Creating a Basic Website

While this will only be a beginning, it will position you to create your own websites at your own pace. From this lesson, you should be able to create a simple website for yourself or for another small business.

9/8/11-Internet Competition Analysis & Keyword Research
You want to make sure that you are choosing a market that almost makes it impossible for you to lose. Selecting the right keywords can make the difference between a successful Internet Marketing campaign and failure.

10/13/11-Introduction to Affiliate Marketing on the Internet
Affiliate marketing has been done for many years, and the Internet is one of the most POWERFUL ways to reach that market. You will learn the basics to being able to make money without having to create your own products or services.

11/10/11-Introduction to Marketing Yourself on the Internet (Internet Marketing)
Despite what people think, building a website does not guarantee that people will visit your website. Here you will learn different ways to reach people who have not met you, yet. You want people to FIND YOU!

12/8/11-Branding Yourself on the Internet
This is really an extension of the Intro to Internet Marketing class. Here, you will learn ways to have people become EXCITED to find you. Better yet, you will learn ways to have people REFER OTHER PEOPLE TO YOU!

This is a tentative schedule and is subject to change at any time. However, this is our initial plan.

Also, the limited time constraints force these to be more like lecture demonstrations than hands-on workshops.

If you are interested in learning things more quickly, we might hold classes--if there is enough interest. (There would be a charge for these classes.)

Postcard campaigns can be an effective traffic generator for your website. Your postcard should offer free goodies they can only download from your website to entice prospects to visit your site. To build value, use bulleted text describing exactly what the prospect will receive by downloading your "freebie." Consider showing a snapshot of your website on the postcard.

$100 Idea: The most powerful way to generate quality traffic to your website…

Affiliate programs are perhaps the most powerful way to generate quality traffic. An affiliate program is much like engaging a commission salesperson. Each affiliate sends qualified traffic your site through "affiliate links" that record where the visitor came from. If the visitor buys, the affiliate gets a commission on the sale.

If you want to get your affiliates to perform...

Teach them how to promote your product or service.
Give them the tools to do it (banners, text, photos, etc.)
Give them extra incentives to promote your products.

It helps if your affiliate has used or at least reviewed your product or service themselves.

Making a business decision is just common-sense, when you have the facts!

$100 Idea: The secret of writing banner ads…

The most effective banners are those that contain only text on them. Use words like...

"Do you want to save 30% on your insurance in 10 min.?"
"Click here to discover the most important download of your business career."

Create curiosity and get people to click on your banner. Graphical banners shout out "advertisement" and trigger visitors' natural tendencies to avoid any type of promotional content.
