eBay and How to build List
Subject: It is time to take your Junk! Sorry your surplus home supplies and sell them on eBay – Come learn from a top eBay Marketer how to do that!
Come at 4:00 pm for Q and A - time to get your questions answered on:
• How to list your business in local maps so it moves to the top
• How to build a 10 page website for free
• How to use internet to find the lowest price on products
Main event: eBay powerseller tells it all at this event! Event starts at 6pm
Ted is a Gold eBay Powerseller and has been selling on eBay full time since 2003, reaching sales of $300,000.00 per year. He has a lot to share that he has learned through years of experience that WILL have you make more money on eBay.
I have an eBay store and from consulting with Ted on how to improve my store and sales, my sales more than doubled in the first two weeks. I know others who have applied his knowledge and had similar results. He knows this business inside and out!
Ted gave me eBay tips to share:
1. Before you sell any item on eBay, search completed listings. As long as you have an eBay account, you can search for everything that has sold on eBay over the past two weeks. It will show you all listing information and what the sale price was for each item. When you do a search of closed items, you will quickly notice that some sellers had much better success than others when selling the same item. This is the quickest way to know how to list your item, find the items that sold for the most and do what that seller did- use the same category, look what they did for photos and how they wrote their description, see what listing upgrades they used.
Also, eBay completed sales are the largest resource of appraisals in the world. Every pawn shop out there uses completed listing searches to determine the true value of items. If you are considering selling something or have a product you want to sell, search for the same or similar items and you can find out what you can expect to get.
2. Check out typothis.com. This is a free website that does searches on eBay with misspellings of what you are looking for. When things sell cheaper on eBay than other sellers are selling the same items for, it is almost always because of the way the item was listed, and misspellings are the most common error. The consequence? No one sees your listing, it never comes up in their searches. Searching for the mispelled listings can be the best way to get real deals on eBay. (Plus it's a great lesson on knowing what NOT to do when you are selling!)
By the way, that website makes its money as an eBay affiliate, eBay is very affiliate friendly and there are plenty of opportunities available to promote eBay.
7:30 PM- 9pm Learn how to use the internet to build list for products
Zornitza MacKinnon will present her LR Profits Junkie and List Building Junkie courses for learning how to start and grow your email list of contacts quickly without pay per click, complicated software or a computer science degree!
Marketing experts agree that the “Gold is in the List”. This is true; however, you need to grow a list before you can mine it for gold! That is where I can help.
PS: This meeting is open to the public; anyone can attend. Business owners are encouraged to bring their promotional materials and set up a vendor table at no charge; call Mark Maupin at 248-939-6232 to reserve your table.
